I used Ken Brodt and Willows LLP to close a property sale. Ken quoted me $500 as his fee. He increased it to $720 because he had to review the offer three times due to mistakes made by the seller's realtor. The sale proceeds depositing was delayed for 5 days because it was handled poorly. I spent all day yesterday on the phone with his legal assistants and the bank. I even called the courier service they used. Not once did the assistants show their care and sensitivity dealing with a customer's large amount of money. I will never use Willows LLP again.

Not sure if the new company is any better, but considering they did not respond to my concern that they did my document incorrectly the first time, it seems doubtful

I would highly recommend Alex Deacon. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He was very efficient in working through my paperwork. I have had other lawyers who kept me waiting for months to get what I needed but Alex was very timely and I didn’t have to wait at all. He had excellent knowledge of what legal steps were required and he was able to advise me as to the risks that I might be undertaking.

First off this review is only about one of the lawyers there. It would only be one star but the manager was excellent and he intervened and made things right. I won't say his name but there is one lawyer there that was all good about taking my (immigration) case and told me everything was going to be just great even though he knew damn well he couldn't do anything for me. But that's not the worst part. At the beginning, he was attentive for the first day or so, but then he didn't bother contacting me except for maybe one email, then there was nothing. I called and emailed him many many times with no avail. So watch yourself when you go here don't give a big deposit because it's tough to get it back. I tried three or four times to get my money back from this one lawyer just avoided me so I talked to the manager and he was excellent. He helped me out and got me in my deposit back. I hope that you can learn from my mistake and make sure your lawyer is doing his job. Even though you shouldn't have to because lawyers are supposed to be ethical...
