⭐ One star, only because zero isn't an option. Nearly $5,000 billed for zero final deliverables, zero completed work, and a case to start from scratch elsewhere. They're even demanding payment. The firm calls it a completed mandate. To me, it's an unfinished service billed as if it had been rendered. Disastrous experience. Trust destroyed. Avoid at all costs.

I retained the services of Pierre-Luc Giroux between 2023 and 2026 for a difficult divorce and won three cases (provisional measures, ancillary matters, and the appeal) thanks to his exceptional professionalism in preparing the files and during the trials. Mr. Giroux consistently demonstrated remarkable energy in accurately refuting the opposing party's arguments. I should add that Mr. Giroux managed to reduce my costs (using a virtual income calculation to lower child support payments and a motion to dismiss the appeal due to time limits), even though the divorce ultimately proved extremely expensive. So yes, Mr. Giroux is not cheap (although everything is relative, as lawyers' fees have skyrocketed in recent years) and he can be intense at times, but if the stakes are high (in my case: keeping my young children in Quebec) and/or the opposing party is particularly cunning, then he is the safest choice.
