After my previous lawyer dismissed me, deeming the situation professional suicide, I felt I would have to represent myself in court. Knowing that men have gone to war to defend their country, I was ready to go to that same war to defend my child. And then an angel crossed my path. Maître Laflamme took on my case despite its size and complexity. Rather than simply making money off me, knowing that a two-day trial awaited us, and understanding my financial situation, she opted to have me pay for a private second opinion, so that I would use my money wisely. This proved successful. We managed to completely reverse the custody arrangements. Unfortunately, our partnership was short-lived; a conflict of interest arose. Out of courtesy and professionalism, Maître Laflamme herself sought out a colleague to take over the proceedings. If it had to happen again, I would choose Master Laflamme without hesitation.
