My lawsuit was settled in a timely fashion, very much to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Sarah and her team.

  I have been very pleased with my experience with Thomson Roger's law firm. Since securing their services, my auto insurance provider finally started approving multiple streams of concussion therapy. I recieved the therapy and support I needed. The process and communication was efficient. I also recieved a settlement for compensation that I was very satisfied with. I would highly reccomend their services.

  Our journey with Thompson Rogers began in 2018 after we met with four or five different law firms in Toronto to discuss my motor vehicle accident and the permanent injuries I sustained. We sat down with each firm to understand their approach to building a case. Out of all the interviews, it quickly became apparent that Leonard Kunka had a distinctly different approach to attracting and serving new clients. While the other lawyers were extremely courteous and patiently explained their fee structures and answered our questions about the process, Leonard and his colleague immediately began taking notes and working on the case during our first meeting. They asked far more detailed questions than any of the other lawyers had. It became clear to us, even during that initial consultation, that we would be working with Leonard. Although we attended the remaining two or three interviews we had already scheduled—out of fairness and to give the other firms an opportunity—we were confident, even before those meetings concluded, that Leonard would be representing us. Unfortunately, Leonard retired from practicing law around 2023 and was unable to see my case through to completion. However, the way he handled the case over those five years gave us complete confidence that he had our best interests at heart. His vast experience was evident, and we trusted his ability to develop the strongest strategy for achieving the best possible outcome. Our update calls with Leonard every few months were always reassuring and stress-relieving. He kept discussions concise, avoided overwhelming us with technical details, and consistently kept us informed. He was diligent in following up on updates regarding my condition and was fully transparent in outlining his strategy and managing expectations regarding potential settlement or trial outcomes. When Leonard informed us of his retirement and that he would be transferring the file to Matthew Sutton, we trusted his judgment but were understandably nervous about whether anyone could meet the high standard Leonard had set. Matthew immediately got to work strengthening our case further. He communicated clearly, provided thoughtful assessments of our potential outcomes, and helped us understand the defense’s perspective and strategy. The defendant’s legal team made a settlement offer around the time Matthew became involved. Two years later, when we ultimately reached a settlement, the agreed amount was more than double the original offer. Despite our initial uncertainty, Matthew exceeded even the high expectations we had developed while working with Leonard. It should be clear that we wholeheartedly endorse Matthew and strongly encourage anyone considering legal representation to consult with him before making a decision.

  Wow — Thomson Rogers represented my mother in her car accident case, and we could not be more satisfied with the experience. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, and always took the time to explain things clearly.   I can’t say enough about Darcy Merkur and his team. I hired Darcy after a serious motor vehicle accident, and the claim process quickly became overwhelming.
