  René is not only an exceptional real estate lawyer, he is one of the main reasons our family did not give up on an extremely difficult home purchase. Our transaction became far more complicated and stressful than we ever expected. Because of serious issues on the seller’s side, the closing was delayed repeatedly, and for weeks we had no certainty that the purchase would actually be completed. By that point, our family had already moved from Ontario to New Brunswick. We were living in temporary accommodations with two young children, our belongings were in storage, and every delay brought more expense, disruption, and emotional pressure. There were several moments when we felt completely exhausted and were ready to walk away. Throughout the entire process, René was calm, patient, responsive, and incredibly dependable. He followed up persistently when answers were delayed, questioned updates when they were vague, kept us informed, and clearly explained our legal position and the options available to us. He never pressured us to make a particular decision. Instead, he gave us honest and practical advice, protected our interests, and helped us think clearly during a very emotional and uncertain time. What impressed us most was his empathy. René understood that this was not simply another real estate file. It affected our children, our finances, our housing, and our family’s sense of stability. He treated our concerns seriously, never made us feel that our questions were a burden, and consistently showed patience, kindness, and genuine care. We always felt that he was truly on our side and willing to go beyond what was expected to help us. Our family has now finally moved into the home. Looking back, we realize even more clearly how important René’s professionalism, persistence, and support were in getting us here. René is knowledgeable, trustworthy, principled, and genuinely compassionate. He is the kind of lawyer everyone hopes to have during one of the most important and stressful transactions of their life. We recommend him without hesitation and with sincere gratitude.

  Our realtor shared some names of lawyers to reach out to for our first home purchase, René was on the list. I reached out and he was so friendly, sent us a detailed estimate in timely manner. He was so kind when we met him to sign papers and really helped make this process nice and smooth. He had a quick response time to any texts or calls we had. He was always able to answer our questions and gave us peace of mind! He was amazing the whole process and we would highly recommend his services! 🙂
