  I contacted Karen's office seeking assistance for a request from my 88 year old father needing guidance to have a will/power of attorney/ect created. He is getting older and would like some help with organizing his life/affairs. We both experienced a terrible encounter individually when Karen contacted us. Karen first called my father and quickly confused him. When my father becomes uncertain, nervous or scared, he will request the person contact me as I am a safe place for him and he trusts me. Not a bad thing in my mind for a senior to do. Lots of phone scams are occurring and my father is a bit of the nervous type. Unfortunately, Karen was extremely hostile and agitated by my fathers request. When she called me, I could sense some unnecessary internal power struggle she was having with my father requesting she contact me. Simply, he was scared but Karen could not retain this information during her overly aggressive attempt to scold me for my Dad requesting she contact me. She simply lost all ability to show any compassion or thoughtfulness into seeking to understand why he requested this. If she just took a moment to listen, she would have learned that some seniors are sceptical of people who phone them or try to do business over the phone. Some seniors find security to be in an office, with a face to face conversation. Karen's aggressive behaviour startled my 88 year old father and Karen never gave me the opportunity to share any of these items. During my attempts, she would repeatedly spoke over me, and displayed little effort in understanding my fathers request for help. When I asked for clarity on items that she was referencing, I was told to stop talking and listen. I completely understand why my Dad had issues with this lady as I was completely strained during this one sided lecture myself. Karen displayed rude and abnoxious behavior when we were seeking compassion during a request to find assistance in what my father was looking to seek knowledge on. This could have been a simple task. Unfortunately, it became complicated by Karen's ego. In the end, I fired her before she even started.

  Karen fit me in on short notice for notarizing an urgent business document which also needed a witness - nice that there are two notaries so they can witness and notarize. Allie and Karen were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very quick. Thanks!

  Karen has been absolutely wonderful. She made the process of buying our first home so much easier and guided us through several important corrections with her expertise. She’s incredibly prompt with communication and kept us updated at every step. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a notary!
