  The date of this review is January 18, 2026. I previously reviewed this firm, but I wanted to leave a more up-to-date summary of my most recent experience. In March of 2025, I scheduled another consultation to begin the process of acquiring Canadian citizenship. I met with Marina once again, and she remembered me straight away, which speaks to the dedication and genuine connection she and her team have to their clients. Fortunately, circumstances were favorable and she was confident my application would be straightforward. Since I have greatly valued her judgement in the past, it was an easy decision to have Marina entrust my citizenship application to Michael Dhesa. Over the course of ten months, Michael led the effort, meticulously constructing my application. He patiently worked with my often busy work schedule and when action was required on my part, Michael relayed the information or instructions to me immediately and with concision. He took the time to answer any questions or assuage concerns I may have had. As someone with great anxiety surrounding applications of any kind, let alone one as important as this, I valued this brand of patience and availability. In January of 2026, I was finally able to take the oath of citizenship, marking a joyous conclusion to this journey. I have immense gratitude for the assistance of Marina, Michael, and their entire team in helping me become a citizen of this beautiful country. If you are looking for help regarding any part of the immigration process, this is EXACTLY where you need to look. Their knowledge, attention to detail, decorum, and dedication shine front and center. Original review (June 2021): Highly recommend this firm for your immigration needs! Over the past year, Marina and her team have done an absolutely stellar job of assisting my partner and I with the permanent residence application as well as a few other applications that were necessary to the process. Marina herself is incredibly knowledgeable, direct, patient, and concise with any instructions relayed to the applicant. It's easy to tell that she also instills these same values in the staff she employs. Every single interaction with herself and her staff as a whole has been pleasant and clearly showed me what we needed to do. If one of us misunderstood, they took the time to break it down for us. We were kept up-to-date of any change in processing times, procedures, and the like. A process that was incredibly daunting to me had all of the anxiety and headache taken out of it, thanks to this firm. If you need an immigration firm to help you, enlist their help. From the initial consultations to the final submissions, they make it so easy. Absolutely worth it!

  For anyone needing an immigration lawyer, I can't recommend Marina and her team enough. I was so lucky to be referred to her by a lawyer in Victoria back when we lived on the island. Marina and her staff are simply amazing! They were so knowledgeable, patient, and kind, guiding me and my daughter, Rain, through every single step of our journey—from helping us with our visitor visas, getting our permanent residency all the way to finally receiving my and my daughter's Canadian citizenship and passports. What sets Marina apart is that she is not just a professional; she's also a wonderfully humble person with a big heart.   We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding support we received from Marina and her team. Our case was based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, and with their expert guidance, we received approval from IRCC a lot faster than anticipated - in less than a year! Marina demonstrated exceptional knowledge and professionalism throughout the process. She helped us understand the complexities of our case, set realistic expectations, and provided clear guidance every step of the way. She and her team answered our questions promptly making us feel supported and informed, which really helped with the anxiety that comes with uncertainties.   I met Marina 14 years ago when beginning the immigration process to Canada. I was about to marry a Canadian, my second marriage, and felt overwhelmed by the prospect of immigrating. Marina was amazing. I cannot speak highly enough of the personal attention detail she gave to both myself and my now Canadian husband. Marina is very personable in her approach, but extremely professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had reason to contact her recently for some advice. Marina not only remembered me all these years later, a remarkable feat in itself, but had the time to listen and advise me. I highly recommend this remarkable woman and her team.
