  If you are looking for a reliable legal advocate, I strongly advise avoiding this firm. Aline Avanessy and her team missed a critical insurer deadline to provide a medical update, which directly caused my income replacement benefits to be abruptly cut off. Furthermore, due to poor counsel, they missed a key deadline to have a previous legal bill reassessed at the Superior Court. Instead of advocating for me when the insurer denied a chaperone for an exam, they simply suggested I get a doctor's note. I had to take matters into my own hands by notifying the insurer that this denial obstructed my rights under the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO), which finally forced compliance. This firm failed to protect my interests. Zero stars. Run.

  The Team at Avanessy Giordano were excellent. We had an AB file lasting for years and they got the job done with favorable results. Shout out to Leila for getting the best outcome possible and Sophia for being best law clerk ever. They remained consistent and compassionate throughout the years. I would not hesitate to recommend this team for family and friends in need of legal services. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

  In 2019, after my car accident, I was referred to this law firm, and from the very beginning, Alan, Leila and team showed me genuine care and support throughout these past five years. It was never just about winning a case — it was about my overall well-being: physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were moments when I felt at my absolute lowest and walked through some of the darkest seasons of my life, yet I always knew I could reach out to them. Even when they were busy, they made time for me because they understood the state of mind I was in. They continuously encouraged and motivated me to keep going through a process that often felt overwhelming and frightening. What meant the most to me was feeling safe enough to be vulnerable.   When I first became a client of Avanessy Giordano, it was more of a boutique law firm. When I received the referral from another law firm for the kind of case that I had, I knew that if a law firm recommends another law firm, they are putting their reputation on the line as well, so I knew that Avanessy Giordano would be a solid choice. I could tell from the initial meeting and consultation that I was dealing with serious professionals. And let me tell you, this firm did not disappoint. They were methodical, patient, and purposeful in their pursuit of justice for my case. And even when we received word that the case might not turn out as we had hoped, my attorney, Antonia Hristova applied herself even more assiduously to the case, and worked every angle until we achieved the result we wanted. To be honest with you, Antonia actually achieved a result that was better than expected, given what we were up against. Thank you to everyone at Avanessy Giordano, especially Antonia, and Legal Assistant Sherry Wang who took such good care of me the entire time I was a client of AVA-GIO Law.
