  Working with Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers — specifically Brittany Whalen and Kimberly Paynter — was one of the worst professional experiences I’ve had. Expect to wait days (sometimes over a week) for replies to even basic emails. Their financial literacy was alarmingly low, and they made serious errors, such as mixing my personal expenses with my business expenses. If you are dealing with a high-conflict divorce, this is not the firm you want. They were far too passive, offered little real advocacy, and seemed more focused on dragging the case out and asking for more retainer funds than on resolving anything. They were ready to give up on my case. I switched lawyers, won, and avoided ending up under a bridge. Avoid at all costs.

  THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, Im going through Divorce witch is allready hard to start with and was assigned to me a junior lawyer miss S.S, on our first letter to the ex wife, this young lady Lawyer messed up the letter with multiple mistakes, dates and names were wrong she didn't use the information on intake form filled by me as a requirement by Russell Alexander family law firm, so i had to edited the all letter realized that i was paying forva service that i was doing myself. When I asked about her experience for obvious reasons she came back very defensive stating that I was disrespectful and if their was a lack of trust we shouldn't continue, I was oblivious with her answer, it only confirmed that she is not emotional mature to deal with my case, when I presented the situation to the office manager Elizabeth Macdonald her conclusion was there was nothing wrong, I couldn't believe it, it's all about grabbing your cash $$$. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Russell Alexander Family Law Firm and would not recommend them to anyone. I am currently going through a divorce, which is already a challenging process, and was assigned to a junior lawyer, Ms. S.S. Unfortunately, she made several significant errors in the first letter sent to my ex-wife, including incorrect dates and names. Additionally, she failed to properly use the information provided on my intake form. As a result, I had to correct the entire letter myself, which made me feel like I was paying for a service that I was essentially doing on my own. When I inquired about her level of experience, her response was defensive, claiming that I was being disrespectful. She suggested that if there was a lack of trust, we should not continue working together. Her reaction only reinforced my concern that she lacked the emotional maturity needed to handle my case. When I escalated the issue to the office manager, Elizabeth MacDonald, I was shocked to find that she did not acknowledge any of the mistakes or offer a resolution. Instead, she seemed indifferent, which left me feeling that the firm’s focus was solely on collecting fees rather than providing quality service.

  I've had the pleasure of knowing Lori Dubin personally and professionally for years. On a personal level she is one of the kindest, considerate and generous people I know. Professionally I consider her friendly, approachable and very much client oriented. She does a great job for her clients, always putting them first. Top notch!
