I worked with Jennifer Li as my lawyer several years ago when selling a property and had such a great experience that I chose her again for the purchase of my new home. Jennifer and her legal assistant, Winnie, were both fantastic to work with. They were extremely organized and proactive throughout the entire process. Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases of my life, and I felt quite anxious, but they were always responsive, answered all my questions promptly, and kept me updated every step of the way. I’ve already recommended them to family and friends, and I will definitely be using Jennifer again in the future

Jennifer did some legal work for us before, service of which was totally professiondal and also personal. Talk about a dichotomy in a good way. We recently concluded a real estate transaction, and are grateful that Lily helped us through the process. Our banker was rather sloppy in handling the title registration, resulting in quite a bit of angst. Thankfully, Lily was able to interface with RBC mortgage to resolve the issue before closing. Good quality work deserves a shout-out. Great job Lily. Sloppy work a call-out. RBC, shape up or ship out.

My husband and I recently purchased our first home and our real estate agent recommended Jennifer Li as a budget option. In this case, I feel like we got what we paid for. We appreciated Jennifer's initial responsiveness when inquiring about her services and we felt comfortable signing on with her. Unfortunately, we had to prompt her on several occasions at critical points during the transaction. I am extremely grateful for the conscientiousness of our real estate agent and our mortgage broker who guided us through the process. 1. I was prompted by our mortgage broker to reach out to Jennifer to confirm receipt of the "final instructions" for our mortgage. 2. Our meeting to sign the paperwork was arranged for a Friday morning - she only sent us the paperwork to review late Thursday night - She sent me the paperwork after I emailed her at the direction of my real estate agent who was surprised we hadn't received it yet. For such an important transaction, more than a night would be appreciated to review the details. 3. The day of closing there were some bumps (not Jennifer's fault) which we didn't hear about til 1pm (we were again grateful for our mortgage broker looking into the issue himself) and the deal closed in escrow. 4. Her office indicated that we would receive the final report within a few weeks - I again had to email her a month later and then she finally completed it. The legal closing duties were completed on a technical basis without any issue. If you are looking for a budget lawyer, I would recommend her services only if you are very proactive or if you have the guidance of an excellent real estate agent and/or mortgage professional as we did.
