  It is a great pleasure working with Franco Ciarlo. He is thorough, knowledgeable and very clear, no nonsense and fast with direction. And he's funny and witty. I tend to be an anxious person and his manner reduces my anxiety. I've recommended him to my friends.

  Amazing Advice and service from my Lawyer Mark Daly, hopefully I will never have to use them again LOL but if I did, I would choose this firm. I had a complicated legal matter due to an employment issue, and they were able to get me the settlement I felt I deserved, the fact that he was able to guide me through the process professionally really helped me. I learned a lot going through this as well. Would highly recommend this firm and Mark Daly for anyone needing legal advice related to an employment issue.

  My son and I retained Ned Nolan for a difficult case. Ned’s ongoing professionalism and guidance are what got us through the challenging ordeal. It was very clear early on how he genuinely cared about the effects the situation had on us. Based on facts presented, Ned immediately knew it was worthwhile to pursue. Ned was incredibly knowledgeable, and he always followed through, always quick to reply with emails and phone calls keeping us updated. It was a real one to one experience with him, not just through other staff. Ned did his research, and we kept track of everything for him in order that he was able to present a solid case. You have to work as a team with your lawyer. Ned you were amazing! You always presented options in details and helped us pick the right one. Ned is exceptionally organized, and he recalled everything about the case that was going on for over a couple of years. With Ned’s persistence, we were successful in being adequately compensated for wrongful dismissal but importantly, we finally had a voice in the matter where we otherwise would not have. Please trust, this is not a lawyer out to “rob” you. His fairness was above and beyond. He didn’t want you accumulating expenses if he felt it wasn’t worthwhile. These situations take time, patience, and someone who really understands employment law. Ned, thank you so much for your compassionate demeanour, your patience, and your excellence in bringing us fair closure to our unforeseen situation.

  I recently used this law firm and I worked with Mark Daly, I don’t recommend anyone using them again. If there was zero star for service I would have selected that not one. Mark’s professional service was ok, but when it came to refunding my $300 deposit things went downhill. I was informed a cheque was mailed, but I never received it we kept going back and forth by emails with his assistant (Dorothy) and him. I requested the cheque cancelled and interac sent to me. I was shocked to be told they receive but don’t send Interac very hypocritical. I also suggested a UPS sent to me but was ignored and instructed to wait for the cheque. Despite the ongoing Canada Post disputes and threat of a potential strike. Finally after 4 weeks of not receiving it, despite living within Hamilton. I called Mark angry at their prolonged delay and disregard for my several emails. He responded rudely complaining about my tone and still suggesting to wait for their mail. Again, I sent him an email and mentioned if they don’t send my cheque I would be writing a Google review. Suddenly, I was told the cheque was stopped and courier will deliver my cheque the next day. I did receive the cheque on following day. This was a very terrible experience for me. I would NEVER use this firm again!!!!!! It is ironic to read their reply to my review no remorse such arrogance. I never used profanity in my communications. When I spoke to Mark I said I am pissed off at the prolonged delay in receiving my cheque. If I did not pay your law firm on time, you definitely would have reacted worse to me.
