I hired them because I needed a U.S. attorney for my trademark application (I’m not U.S. domiciled). All paperwork was already submitted to the USPTO, and I paid a one-time fee that was supposed to cover the process until the certificate was issued. My file was later transferred to Kimberley and she never contacted me, she had no record of my file when I called, and communication was extremely poor. I eventually contacted USPTO myself and discovered that additional documents had been requested weeks earlier—my application was sitting idle because they didn’t follow up. I then learned the attorney they hired in united states had moved away, something they weren’t even aware of, and despite this being their internal issue, they asked me for more money for the same service which then I backed up. I also find out they are not registered or licensed with the USPTO. Unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

When I saw an alarming uptick in my artistic designs being pirated and showing up without my permission on e-commerce sites I approached Heer Law. A 90 minute consultation was arranged quickly and set up on Teams with the very knowledgeable Rares Minecon. Rares didn’t fill the time with vague legal banter, he tailored it to address my concerns with a realistic outlook regarding what to expect from going after the IP thieves, from the small criminals to the big leagues. He recommended a range of strategies I can use to further protect and defend my business, with some tips on improving good IP hygiene. Thanks Rares, and thanks Heer Law. Speaking with Sabrina Martin was smooth and well organized leading up to the call. My issue is unique and complicated being it’s a transnational issue rooted in Colombia.
